This is an update to my review on dec.23.2020 when I gave a one star with a complain about stop loss hunt; first I will thank their customer service especially sammy who replied without any delay to my complain, their cooperation and corespondents was actually amazing and the way the explained to me was really good to know of how the market is working, I ended with it was not their fault and they have nothing to do with this issue, I believe an experienced trader will understand what I mean, I learned my lesson from this on how to set my stop losses.
With this update I will give four stars not because they do not deserve the five but because nothing is perfect and no one, in general no issues trading with them I did two withdraw so far with and received my money in 48 hours.
I will make sure I keep you updated in the near future.

Dec 23, 2020 - 1 star I have been with them for over a year now, my main issue was my stop losses and it happened many times, example, when my stop loss was 1857 tonight, I wake up at low price of 1856.92 and the only platform that has this low and no one else, when I object they will come with the slippage excuse, wondering is it really a stop hunter or what.

I have known about the good reputation of GP for years, but due to regulatory reasons I have been unable to open an account.

I started a live account in october 2020 and have been amazed at GP's execution quality and transparency.
Sammy, whom I talk to often, has an in-depth knowledge of liquidity and trading, and always grateful for his excellent support.

Considering moving to an institutional account in the future and look forward to having access to better liquidity and pricing.

Finally, I have a few requests to make GP better.
1. Addition of PXM LD4 as MT4 server.
2. About the display specifications of the "trade receipt". (as reported in an earlier e-mail)
3. Disclosure of commission tables on websites.

Length of use: over 1 year

Marketing is excellent, execution is acceptable.
During the night time, server time (global prime 00:00), a disgrace compared to the other brokers used.
Example:
gbpcad spread on global prime 40 pips on other brokers do not exceed 20 pips
gbpaud spread on global prime 60pips on other brokers do not exceed 30 pips
(normal being high, but global prime beats records).

After several years of forex trading and horrible customer service with some VERY shady brokers, I decided to look for other alternatives.

My latest broker had nothing negative to report with them other than the fact that they're unregulated which, after growing a forex account into the higher end of the stick, made me uneasy. Nothing and I mean nothing would prevent them from disappearing with my funds and call it quits, right?

So, I searched for a new brokerage and stumbled across global prime. The name global prime ''sounded'' a bit corny. Just like brokers named ''best forex broker'' or that kind of stuff. Nevertheless, I started reading reviews and as I said, as per my experience, only two things happen with reviews:

-if there is a negative aspect coming back over and over again from scattered reviews, it is most of the time truthful and legitimate as a claim. For example, 5 people mentioning a ''non-user'' problem such as fraudulent practices is a big red flag, even if there are 200 positive reviews. People don't make reviews because they're happy with the service, people complain and publicly so when they're unhappy.
-they're manipulated.

Now, after reading pages of reviews, the only negative parts I found were either withdrawal issues or risk management related issues. Both of which are human based. People complaining that a trade was closed because of 100% margin used need to stop trading. People complaining that their trades hit stop loss during high impact news event high spreads need to stop trading. I definitely do not believe that the positive reviews are faked or manipulated because here is mine, fully assumed.

I have read multiple positive reviews about global prime in here. Nothing really raised a red flag in all the negative reviews I read. All those reviews reek of inexperience in the markets. Either, as I said, poor risk management or error caused by the receiving end, aka the user.

Now, after a few months with global prime, I have withdrawn several times without a single issue except recently: withdrawal simply canceled on their end. Guess what? I put my big boy shoes, got on their website instead of crying on review sites and politely asked them why that was. Their answer: ''sorry mate! We'll get it fixed right away, not sure what happened'' and the withdrawal was made without a problem afterwards. Intentional on their end? No. It happens. Mistakes happen, I got my money, all good.

Trade execution speed is spotless. However, the one thing I seem to notice is that my mobile mt4 has a hard time ''picking up the signal''. Reloading charts always seems to require me to close the mt4 app and re open it. Of course, it can be due to a million reasons and it could, as I said, be on my ''receiver'' end.

Spreads are good (except BTCUSD which is an absolute catastrophe, but as I don't trade cryptos, I don't care), if you trade during high impact news events, you need to understand the possible consequences, of course. Again, ''receiver'' end. Stay away from your mt4 when there's NFP/high impact news and you won't see ridiculous spreads, ever. It baffles my mind that some people still trust other brokers (which I probably shouldn't name).

Now, the reason I switched was originally for a regulated brokerage and man have I discovered other great perks I had no idea existed: discord server is available to all members where the STAFF is totally reachable, including owners. They release webinars, classes, education material. These guys are the real deal. Brokers want your money whereas GP (probably still does) but at least, they don't want to take it from you. They want you to invest securely, without stress and in full confidence. I love my experience (so far) and I will recommend them to anyone I know who trades forex. Their customer service is absolutely spotless and everyone should look at them.
