Funds (under £200) were taken out of my account. Though I did get my money back 1-2 days later. Months later they decided to block my account again (wasn't the first time) telling me that the fraudulent transaction is being investigated because the merchant claimed I authorized the transaction. Now they've closed my account.

Ecopayz will frequently block your account and you only find this out when you're in the middle of purchasing goods or attempting to withdraw as they don't contact you through any form of communication. In the midst of this your account will be in 'view only' mode meaning you can't use your card or withdraw funds.You have to contact them before you have a clue what's going on- must be that super fraud detection engine.

Speaking of communication, ecopayz fail miserably at this. Conveniently they have no contact number and their live support is always 'busy' - probably there just for aesthetic purposes. Resulting in you having to sit and wait days on end for an email.

Problem focused, not solution oriented. POSITIVE UPDATE DOWN BELOW.

Registration, verification, receiving mastercard(s), layout, navigation, and all other "streamlined" functions works as it should.
Including withdraws, reasonably fast feedback contacting support, etc.

The reason for my two stars is that for me (norwegian resident and bank user) ecopayz feels extremely rigid and not at all interested in working out issues realted to my country/bankregulations.

Due to national regulations I am uable to perform requirements needed to upgrade my account to acchieve the higher limits for balance/transactions/etc I need for ecopayz to relevant for me.

One requirement is to verify a credit and/or debit card.
This means register the card, deposit, verify.

Due to banking regulations in my country I would then be unable to use my ecopayz account again for it's purpose. Moving money to and from bookmkaers, and safe storage of betting funds rather than to keep it all with bookmakers.

Ecopayz happily waive this requirement, as they seem to understand that I can not perform it.

They do not however waive the second requirement, depsit EUR 5000 using local/international bank transer, zestpay or trustly.
Even though that is impossible for me for the exact same reasons as the credit/debit card verification.

Which makes no sense at all.

This becomes especially bizarre when the offer upgrade to gold account (which is what I need to use the service as intended) WITHOUT ANY requirements for customers who sign up via f.Ex ewallet optimizer.
These customers only have to verify their identity.

I have tried to explain this for two weeks now, but they simply shut the door and keep repeating the requirements listed on their website.

To be fair, one deposit option remain for me to use.
Paysafe cards.
But, I would then have to drive a 6 hour round trip to buy 50 x physical paysafe cards in the nearest shop who sells them at € 50 a piece + 25% tax on the cards bought in store.

This seems unreasonable to me to say the least.

The same regulations blocking me from verifying credit/debit cards with ecopayz, and depositing using the other options also result in not being able to purchase these cards online/electronically.

Even closing my current account and opening a new one via affiliates who offer direct gold upgrade is denied.

I am happy with the quick turn-around after having posted this review.
Better still would obviously have been if ecopayz had some policy for customers who for various reasons can't perform every requirement due to restrictons out of their control.

Anyway. Happy with the outcome, not with the road getting to it.

Still, it shows solution orientation and willingness to reconsider, so that is worth a two star bump from 2 to four.

Ich hat am anfang als ich die schlechten bewertungen gelesen habe, etwas bedenken. Aber über ein online casino war ecopayz die einzigste möglichkeit an mein geld zu kommen. Also die einzahlung über trustly ging bei mir innerhalb sekunden. Als ich dann die auszahlung beantragt habe, stand dran, wird bearbeitet zwischen 3 bis 5 tagen. Nach 4 tagen wurde auch meine auszahlung bearbeitet und war am 5 tag auf dem konto. Über die gebühren sehe ich persönlich hinweg, weil es ist ja hinterlegt wie viel gebühren man zahl. Klar hat es auch ein paar tage gedauert bis das geld auf dem konto war. Aber lieber zahle ich gebühren und werde ein paar tage warten und hab das geld dann sicher auf meinem konto. Dann zum punkt geld einzahlen via trustly sprich sofort ist überall anders das geld zur verfügung nur bei ecopayz nicht dort warte ich schon über 48 stunden und keine regung oder sonst etwas verifizieren tun sie einen auch nicht ich weiß nicht wieso ich so blöd war und mich dort angemeldet habe aber mit einer normalen überweisung wäre es an mein shop wo ich was erwerben wollte schneller gegangen aber bei ecopayz nichts kein zeichen von leben
ich werde morgen früh zur bank gehen und meinen berater das schildern und er soll es zurück buchen wegen verdachts des betruges

Ecopayz ist leicht zu handeln und die app ist selbsterklärend. Einzahlung/auszahlung funktioniert wunderbar. Die kosten sind überschaubar. Kann nicht negatives über ecopayz sagen. Zu empfehlen.

Muss mich leider dem "packleader" mit seiner bewertung anschließen. Ich tätigte allerdings schon am 07.01.21 meine auszahlung. Es ist zwar meine erste auszahlung und bedarf sicherlich etwas mehr zeit zur überprüfung. Das schlimme an der geschichte ist allerdings, dass es sich um einen 4-stelligen betrag handelt und ich auf nachfragen, wann denn mit dem geldeingang zu rechnen sei, lediglich eine standard antwort bekomme, dass es derzeit leider nicht möglich sei um zu antworten.
Werde diesen fall morgen früh dem anwalt übergeben, da ich knallhart von ecopayz ignoriert werd. Es wird sich zwar nicht für mich lohnen, aber es ja bekanntlich ums prinzip.
Wir sprechen hier immerhin von viel geld, also lasst am besten die finger davon.

Meine bewertung (geänderte version):

Positiv:
+einzahlungen via sofortüberweisung oder giropay sind sofort verfügbar und das bezahlen in shops mit guthaben klappt ebenfalls sehr gut.
+das zahlen via kostenloser ecopayz-prepaid-kreditkarte klappt wunderbar.

Negativ:
-auszahlungen dauern in letzter zeit länger als angegeben. In einer älteren version dieser bewertung hatte ich noch auf eine zahlung gewartet, die nun endlich eingetroffen ist. Dafür gibt es einen stern mehr als vorher. Trotzdem bleibe ich dabei, dass die konkurrenz das besser hinbekommt und zu hoffen ist, dass ecopayz das verbessern wird.

Fazit:
wie versprochen, habe ich meine bewertung um einen stern nach oben korrigiert, weil meine auszahlung endlich angekommen ist. Außerdem gehe ich noch einen höher, also auf 4 sterne, weil ich hier sofort eine antwort auf ein weiteres problem bezüglich der SMS-autorisierung bekommen hab. Insgesamt bleibt jedoch ein fader beigeschmack, sodass ich mir noch überlegen muss, ob ich diesen dienst weiterhin aktiv nutzen werde. Mal schauen, wie es mit der aktuellen auszahlung klappt.

Ecopayz ist sehr gut hatte noch nie probleme egal ob ich ein oder auszahlen das geld ist sofort auf dem konto.
Auch wenn ich auszahle ist das geld immer sofort auf meinem konto. Und wen ich geld vom automaten begebe bekomme ich es auch gleich, kassen zahlung funktioniert auch einwandfrei. Das einzige manko ist das man bei jedem mal geld abheben 1-3euro gebühren zahlt.
Kommt darauf an wo man geld behebt bei welchem bankomaten.
Bei der kärntner sparkasse ist die behebung am günstigsten.
Aber ansonsten sind keine gebühren.
Also versucht es mal ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen..

Überweisung wird nicht bearbeitet.

Ich habe schon seit längerer zeit einen ecopayz account und war bisher eigentlich immer zufrieden trotz der gebühren und dem schlechten kundenservice.
Am 10.1.21 habe ich eine überweisung von ecopayz auf mein bankkonto veranlasst, seitdem also 4 tage aktuell passiert gar nichts, null. Die auszahlung steht auf ausstehend und mehr nicht. Vom kundenservice bekommt man keine antwort oder irgendeinen fertigen text mit dem man nichts anfangen kann.
Für mich war es das letzte mal das ich ecopayz benutzt habe.
Finger weg.

Verstehe nicht was daran solange dauert.
Geld ist auf ecopayz account und wird auf bankkonto überwiesen. Was dauert daran mehrere tage?

Leider muss ich ebenfalls dringend abraten und kann mich den vorrednern der negativen bewertungen nur anschließen. Meine erfahrungen sind so bedenklich, dass ich zum ersten mal in meinem leben eine negative bewertung als warnung für jeden potenziellen nutzer verfassen muss.

Ecopayz verlangt trotz vollständiger verifizierung nach einer einzahlung - über das immer gleiche, auf meinen namen laufende bankkonto - einen beleg über die überweisung. Obwohl ich diesen eingereicht habe, wurde mein geld weiterhin noch nicht freigegeben und nach mehreren E-mails wurde mir eine bearbeitungszeit von "bis zu 2 tagen" in aussicht gestellt.

Weiterhin wurde mir von weiteren E-mails abgeraten, da diese vom system als „spam“ markiert werden könnten.

Mir ist derartiges in vielen, vielen jahren noch bei keinem E-wallet-anbieter untergekommen. Und ich rede hier weder von einem absurd hohen betrag gen 10.000 €, noch über ungewöhnliche einzahlungsmethoden, merkwürdige bankkonten oder sonstigen kuriositäten. Es war ein 0815-vorgang.

Es ist unglaublich, dass diese firma den zugriff auf das eigene geld in summe bis zu 3 tage (einen tag ist die einzahlung bereits her) blockieren will.
Ich rate daher jedem dringend von diesem dienst ab, da dies ein mögliches indiz für zahlungsschwierigkeiten der firma ist.

Offiziell wurde eine sicherheitsprüfung als grund genannt. Allerdings ist das konto bereits vollständig verifiziert (silber-status) und konnte zuvor - immerhin - relativ problemlos verwendet werden.
Nach jeder einzahlung im nur dreistelligen bereich folgte aber auch vorher stets eine kurze "sperre" zur überprüfung. Bearbeitungszeit einige minuten - nicht nachvollziehbar, ungewöhnlich, aber noch "erträglich".

Ich kann jedem nur raten: eröffnet keinen account! Wenn ihr betroffen seid, reicht sofort eine beschwerde ein, nutzt das ombudsmann-verfahren und lasst euch nicht für dumm verkaufen.
Und lasst dort niemals geld herumliegen, gefühlt könnte euer konto jederzeit „weg“ sein - und dann viel spaß vor gericht.

Ich mache drei kreuze, wenn ich mein geld ohne gerichtsverfahren von diesem dubiosen anbieter zurückbekomme. Für die auszahlung muss man vermutlich echt noch ein foto mit seiner EC-karte machen. Als ob die einem das eigene geld bereitwillig zurückgeben würden!
